Glen Town Center, Glenview, Illinois Located in the heart of The Glen, a ULI Awards for Excellence winning development, the Glen Town Center includes residential units, as well as commercial elements designed to provide shopping, entertainment and restaurants for the numerous surrounding residential areas.
Carillon Club, Naperville, Illinois Active adult community with single and multi-family homes, a clubhouse, pool house and 3-hole golf course on 220 acres of land.
Strawberry Creek, Kenosha, Wisconsin 325 single family lots and 600 multi-family units make up the 10 neighborhoods surrounding a new first-class semi-private golf course and a commercial development on 380 acres of land.
Bowes Creek Country Club, Elgin, Kane County, Illinois A 609 acre mixed use residential/golf course development. Bowes Creek was the first development approved under the City's Far West Area criteria, incorporating open space and buffer elements into the site development. CGL was retained to develop preliminary and final engineering plans for the offsite trunk utilities, perimeter roads, internal residential neighborhoods, clubhouse and golf course improvements. Included in the engineering services was the modeling, permitting and mapping of the Bowes Creek floodplain as well as obtaining an Individual Permit from the US Army Corps of Engineers for wetland impacts.
Grande Meadows, Plainfield, Illinois A mixed use development consisting of over 1100 acres. Engineering services include the design and coordination of the master infrastructure for the drainage and stormwater management, site grading, sanitary and water distribution, and roadway systems to service single family lots, areas with a traditional neighborhood design, multi-family and commercial parcels, and school and park/recreational sites. Included in the overall site design are more than two miles of a relocated state highway, offsite sanitary sewer and water main extensions, channel restoration for a Class A stream corridor, various conservation design and B.M.P.'s. to address stormwater management and water quality, and site grading for existing granular soils and ground water conditions. In addition to the master infrastructure improvements, engineering services are also provided for the onsite design of the various respective neighborhoods.
